In the Archipelago of Eyelids, the “Lighthouse of Lost Sighs” stands on a floating island of coral. Its job is not to warn ships, but to guide the “Sighs”—the restless breaths of people who cannot fall asleep—back to the hearts that sent them. When the lighthouse’s Heart-Prism is stolen by the “Great Gloom,” the world becomes trapped in a state of weary, breathless anxiety.
Silas, the youngest Light-Keeper, and Finnegan, a “Glimmer-Cat” made of sea-foam and starlight, must sail across the Sky-Oceans to retrieve the Prism. Their journey is one of soft winds, bioluminescent waves, and the realization that sometimes, to find your way, you must listen to the wind instead of fighting it.
