The Gardener of Golden Slumbers

In the hidden valley of Ever-Bloom, the world’s sleep is grown in the petals of the “Moon-Poppies.” Every night, the fragrance of these flowers drifts on the wind, lulling the creatures of the earth into a restorative rest. But a mysterious drought has struck the valley—not a drought of water, but a drought of color and scent. The poppies have turned to gray dust, and the world is trapped in a brittle, restless heat.

Jude, a young gardener who talks to the roots of trees, and Fern, a “Leaf-Stalker” made of living vines and moss, must travel to the Heart of the Thicket. They carry the last “Golden Seed,” a tiny kernel of pure peace that must be planted in the Fountain of Forgotten Dew. Their journey is a slow, sensory exploration of the natural world, reminding us that even the smallest sprout can heal the weary heart.
