Arthur Pumble, a man whose greatest ambition is to alphabetize his spice rack, inherits a mysterious, chrome-plated toaster from his eccentric great-uncle. He soon discovers it’s not an ordinary appliance; it’s the legendary “Toaster of Truth,” a device that compels anyone in its vicinity to blurt out their unfiltered, brutally honest thoughts. When a shadowy organization dedicated to enforcing politeness and a ruthless tech billionaire who wants to use the toaster to dominate the social media landscape both come after him, Arthur must go on the run. Teaming up with a cynical barista and his kleptomaniac ferret, Arthur has to protect the toaster, prevent global social chaos, and maybe, just maybe, learn that a little bit of honesty isn’t always a bad thing.
